The Welsh Government’s strategic approach;

We are not particularly aware of any strategic approach to the provision of allotments or growing spaces.

The approach taken by local authorities across Wales; and

When asked, MCC replied that there was no land available for allotments in our village. We were provided with interesting information on projects we could engage with on hedging, wildflower meadows etc but have no land really.

How we can maximise the health, community and environmental benefits of allotments and community growing.

We would like to offer community growing opportunities as we know that there are social and health and well-being benefits (and get marked down in the 'best kept village competition' accordingly!) but facilities and opportunities are few.
